Is there any cost to read messages?
NO. There is never any cost to read private messages.

Is there any cost to leave messages?
YES. The cost is outlined in the program details page.

Do I need a password?
You will create a user name and a password to set up an account to leave messages.
You will need a password to access private messages that have been left for you.

How do I get a password for a message that has been left for me?
How you receive your password is completely up to the person who is leaving you the message.
An example would be for the sender to leave passwords in their will, or a trusted friend.

How do I know my message is safe and will be available when I want it to be?
Your messages are stored on a Yahoo server, and will always be there.
Our website is only to gain access to your message on the Yahoo servers.
If our computers should crash, your messages are still safe.

What happens if I confess something bad?
We don't care. Confessions are a part of this business. We specifically designed a data base that we cannot read.
All we know is the email address, and the date when a private message was left.
Only you, and who ever gets your password can ever read your private messages.
Therefore, If you forget your password, or lose it, we cannot help you retrieve any private messages.

YOUR SECRET WILL BE SAFE WITH US UNTIL WHATEVER TIME YOU WANT SOMEONE TO KNOW

Do I have to die before messages are released and available to read?
NO. When you create a message, you will be asked when you would like any messages to become available.
You may pick what ever date or year you like. We have also included the option "upon death".
In that case, you need to leave the password in your will.

Can I write a message and then have someone add to it upon my death?
Yes. Giving your user name and password to another person will give them the ability to change the message.
If you only want your message to be read and not changed, keep your user name a secret
and only give out the password (view key).

Can I specify a future date for my messages to become available?
YES. It is up to the sender to specify when messages can be read. They can allow messages to be read
immediately after death, or not until a specific date. Even sometime in the distant future.

How do I know if someone has left a private message for me?
It is the responsibility of the sender to inform you. The client might tell you ahead of time that they have left a message
for you. They could also tell you ahead of time how to get your password when the time comes. The client may instruct
a third party to inform you. An example would be for an attorney to give you a password left in a will.

Is there a time limit to read messages?
This is up to the client. They can specify a date when the message goes away whether it's been seen or not,
or leave it posted only until someone reads it, or to leave it posted forever.

How many different people can read a private message?
This is up to the client. A client could leave a single message and give the password to multiple recipients.
Instead of a single person, you may leave a message for a group of people. An example of this would be a church or
social group, club or industry association. All you have to do is prearrange the instructions with someone.
Another example would be for the client to leave a password on their tombstone for anyone to use.

Do I have to tell you who my message is for?
No.

Can I edit or delete a message I have already written and posted?

Can I create a new password or delete a password I have associated with a message I have posted?
